    ABB to Acquire Sensorfact for Energy Management Expansion

    ZÜRICH, Switzerland, Jan 31, 2025 – ABB is acquiring Sensorfact BV, a fast-growing energy management company headquartered in Utrecht, Netherlands. The acquisition will expand ABB’s digital energy management offering and is expected to close in Q1 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed.

    Sensorfact’s SaaS solution includes plug-and-play sensors that measure consumption on machine-level and connect to a smart software platform. The company uses algorithms to analyze the data, identify energy-saving opportunities and provide easy-to-implement advice that is unique to each customer’s operations.
